Aviation unions have shut the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) over poor implementation of Health Insurance Scheme and a negotiated staff organogram.
The unions say the conditions of service, as well as the Health Insurance Scheme for staff, have been badly implemented.

The action follows a one-week ultimatum given by the unions last week.
They also claim that the organogram makes no room for those who have spent over 25 years to move to positions of Assistant General Managers and Deputy General Managers.
Channels Television gathered that the senior officials of the unions are currently in a closed-door meeting while the protest is ongoing.
